• Cross block is cast aluminum and allows axial and radial movement to position transit at any point on manhole.
• Pivoted support allows vertical alignment of mast.
• Pivot is held solidly in any position between radius brackets with steel clamping lever.
• Large 3/4" steel acme thread screw with permanently fixed 'Y' handle.
• A 5/8" stainless steel balance screw with aluminum hand knob is provided to give a three point stance to opposing acme screw.
• Points on base and acme screw are hardened tool steel and easily replaceable.
